Privacy Policy.

• Email address, when you subscribe to our list or purchase a product, so we can send delivery emails and (optionally) the weekly Monday note.
• First name, optional, used to personalize emails.
• Purchase details. Stripe handles payment; we receive session metadata (product purchased, price, timestamp) to fulfill your order.
• Site analytics. Google Analytics and Pinterest Tag record anonymized page visits. We do not track individual users across sites.
• Referral source. UTM parameters and referral codes are stored in Kit as custom fields to help us understand which channels work.

• Your bank account information (Stripe handles all payment data)
• Your workbook contents (everything you type into a SailsAndShore workbook stays on your machine)
• Location beyond city-level (derived from IP for analytics only)
• Cross-site behavioral data (no third-party tracking cookies)
• Phone numbers, birthdates, or identifying information beyond email + first name

Emails you provide go into Kit (ConvertKit), which we use to send delivery notifications and the weekly Monday note. Purchase data flows through Stripe for payment processing and to our own server for order fulfillment. Site analytics stays in Google Analytics and is not linked to your email or purchase history.

We do not sell, rent, share, or license your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Ever.

• Google Analytics 4, anonymized site analytics

Each of these providers has their own privacy practices. We selected them because they offer strong data protection, EU/CCPA compliance, and don't sell customer data.

You can:

• Unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the link in every email
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you by emailing hi@sailsandshore.com
• Request deletion of your data by emailing hi@sailsandshore.com
• Opt out of analytics by using browser tracking-prevention (Firefox, Brave, Safari all block by default)

We respond to data requests within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, access, portability, deletion, and objection to processing. All of the above rights are available to you regardless of jurisdiction; if you need something specific to comply with your local law, email hi@sailsandshore.com and we'll respond promptly.

We use essential cookies for session management (login, cart), and analytics cookies for Google Analytics and Pinterest. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Browser controls (Do Not Track, block third-party) are respected.
