1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Sails & Shore (“Site”), located at sailsandshore.com, or purchasing any digital spreadsheets, templates, toolkits, or bundles, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Merchant of Record & Order Processing
Our order process is facilitated by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Limited / Paddle Payments Inc.).
Paddle conducts all billing, tax collection, and customer invoicing on behalf of Sails & Shore. When you complete a purchase, your transaction is subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions in addition to these Terms of Service.
3. Digital Product License & Usage Rights
When you purchase a spreadsheet toolkit or bundle from Sails & Shore, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable single-user license to use the files.
You May:
- Use the spreadsheets for your personal projects or internal business operations.
- Modify numbers, formulas, layouts, and colors to match your individual or brand requirements.
- Save backups on your personal computers, private cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox), or local drives.
You May NOT:
- Resell, re-license, distribute, share, or giveaway the files, templates, or underlying formulas.
- Include the templates in any public template gallery, marketplace, SaaS application, or shared repository.
- Claim authorship or ownership of the underlying design and formula structures.
4. Delivery of Digital Goods
All products on Sails & Shore are delivered digitally. Upon successful checkout through Paddle, you will be redirected to a secure confirmation page with immediate download access, and an email containing your secure download link will be dispatched to your billing email address.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, brand names, product designs, spreadsheet layouts, copy, and graphics on Sails & Shore are the exclusive intellectual property of Sails & Shore and its parent brand entities (Pembrook Press, Verande Living). All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
6. Professional Disclaimer
Our spreadsheets, financial models, and business toolkits are designed for general productivity, planning, and organizational purposes. They are not intended as, and should not be relied upon as, certified accounting, financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should always consult with a qualified CPA, attorney, or financial advisor for specific professional matters.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Sails & Shore, its founders, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our digital spreadsheets, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
